About Chain O' Lakes Softball League
Chain O' Lakes Softball League is a recreational softball league consisting of McHenry and Lake County girls softball programs. COLSL provides the organization for individual town leagues to compete against other local teams for spring and fall seasons.  COLSL has divisions for 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U, and 18U age groups.  Games are played under IHSA rules, with various league exceptions. Spring regular season games are scheduled during the months of May and June with an end of season playoff style tournament culminating in a single championship game to crown an annual League Champion.  Fall games are played once per week in the months of September and October.

Chain O' Lakes Softball League does not itself field any teams.  Athletes must register to play through their own local township league.  Towns currently participating in COLSL are as follows:
